I built one brand that can shift moods—Sleep, Energy, Focus—without losing the vibe. One system. Three states. One for each part of your day.
The 3 states
I designed each variation to feel different instantly, while still reading like the same brand family.
Sleep
Helps you unwind and relax
- Flavor: Eucalyptus, Chamomile, Lavender
- Koala Mood: Sleeping on a eucalyptus branch (eyes closed, tiny 'Zzz')
- Color Theme: Soft lavender + pastel blue
- Unique Differentiator: Calming herbs + soothing aroma to help the user relax at night
Energy
Boosts energy and alertness
- Flavor: Eucalyptus, Green tea, Citrus (lemon or yuzu)
- Koala Mood: Koala stretching awake or jumping lightly
- Color Theme: Bright citrus yellow + light green
- Unique Differentiator: Natural caffeine + refreshing citrus for an energizing daytime boost
Focus
Helps with concentration and mental clarity
- Flavor: Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Rosemary (light)
- Koala Mood: Koala sitting upright reading a eucalyptus leaf
- Color Theme: Mint green + deep teal
- Unique Differentiator: Cooling peppermint + cognitive herbs ideal for studying or work
How I built it
The challenge
Make three cans feel like one brand
This wasn’t a “fix a problem” brief. I challenged myself to build a brand from scratch.
The idea clicked when I framed it around daily states: calm/sleep, energy, focus.
The strategy
Adaptable, soft, lifestyle
I picked three brand attributes on purpose: adaptable, soft, lifestyle.
That gave me a filter for every decision—color, type, illustration style, and how loud (or quiet) each can should feel. From there I locked the typography and layout so the hierarchy stays consistent, kept the koala mark as the anchor, and pushed ingredient art into the background so each can tells its flavor story without clutter.
Outcome
One brand for every part of the day
The goal was simple: consistency across the set, and a clear “pick the one you need right now” feeling. I designed for the real can format—wide, wraparound—and got the logo right by sketching, inking, then bringing it into vector so it felt bubbly but clean.
Sleep, Energy, Focus—different moods, same identity.

Design Process
Mockup
Final can designs showing all three states together.

Dieline
Production-ready dielines for each variant.
Design Justifications
I tied each palette to the state (Sleep/Energy/Focus), kept the ingredient art subtle in the background, and used the koala mark as the anchor so the family stays consistent even when the colors shift.
